In the same way I was getting confident in riding the whole mountain, I made a decision to accompany some expert skiers down quite a famous 007 related black run, in what can only be referred to as maybe not ideal conditions... after serious protests from myself, I finally chose to snow goggles simply to find that these highly experienced twin plankers were side slipping down the mountain!!!

It is the weirdest thing when you are able see other folks on the slopes perfectly but can not start to see the slope it self... there have been occasions when I have genuinely thought I had come to a stop but hadn't, and then fell quite heavily, such is the manner the human brain is fooled by such conditions. The end result from these experiences for me personally has been to find a pair of snowboarding goggles that provide you as much of an advantage in flat/low light conditions as possible.
