Crank handle Pliers Pry bar Operator mechanism Screwdriver

1 Examine the window crank to see where the paraphernalia has been stripped. The threads on the grip may boast gone bad, or the splines on the operator mechanism may be harmful.

2 Wide open the window, using a match of pliers to turn the crank while pushing out on the window.

3 Press down on the guide arm to remove the bushing from the monitor. The bushing yous a small roller that moves up also down the monitor that wide open and closes the window.

4 With the screwdriver, remove the trim screws that guarantee the casement deal with.

5 Remove the screws that is secure the crank mounting. You can after that pull out the crank or operator system.

6 Set the new operator mechanism in location and align it with the screw holes on the casement.

7 Put in the screws into the screw holes plus tighten them along with the screwdriver.

9 Pull the window inward and put the bushing again in the track.

10 Screw on the handle that is came for the new operator system.
