screen protect Should I Buy an iPhone Case

If you've just recently purchased an iPhone or you've just been given one as a present, you might be wondering whether or not you should make the investment in an iPhone case. The answer, according to nearly everybody who owns an iPhone is almost always overwhelmingly, YES! If you ask your local mobile communications store owner, they'll tell you yes because guess what?...They want to sell you one! Let's look over the many benefits that iPhone cases give when used properly.

1. They prevent Accelerometer damage. The accelerometer is a component inside of the iPhone that allows that cool screen tilt effect. Using the accelerometer, the iPhone has the ability to by viewed in portrait or landscape view. The accelerometer is also heavily relied upon by various apps like Pedometer, Bump etc. When there is no case on the iPhone, the accelerometer is susceptible to "shock" in quick movements. Quick, abrupt movements that come to a halt quickly (such as dropping your phone) can often damage the accelerometer by "shocking" it. Losing the accelerometer function in the iPhone is like losing the meat on a roast beef sandwich. You can still eat it, but it's not going to be worth much.

2. Iphone cases, skins and bumpers all prevent surface scratches, dents and breakage to the outside of the iphone. If you were to drop your iPhone without a case, you would at the very least damage the outer finish of the iPhone, resulting in lower resale value and a compromised protective layer. It's very common, since the iPhone is a complex and unique piece of machinery, for them to break entirely when dropped without a case. Getting any sort of iPhone case prevents this hard surface damage by providing a soft rubber or hard plastic barrier around the phone which acts somewhat like a bicycle helmet. If anything breaks, it'll be the case and not your phone.

3. Screen protection. Since the iPhone is a touch screen device, screen protectors are a top protection choice for many enthusiasts. While the bumper or iPhone case prevents damage from taking place on the outside corners and edges of the phone, apple ipad 2 cases, screen protectors prevent surface scratches, cracks and blemishes from happening on the screen of the iphone itself. Without a screen protector, even if you never drop your iPhone you'll begin to see tiny scratches and burrs on your screen if used heavily over time.

In summary, In order to keep your iPhone in peak condition, working and looking as if it were brand new, some investments are necessary. Iphone cases range from either being extremely cheap (and thus don't provide much protection) or extremely expensive (for no reason at all). Be sure to look around when purchasing your iPhone case to ensure the highest quality grade available.
