Chicago style requires that references be listed in a specific format. This style was created more than some century ago through the Varsity of Chicago Press. This style was originally imposed on typesetters in the University's composing room who were hired to kind from handwritten manuscripts brought to them by professors at the school. To aid typesetters, the employees on the composing place created a design sheet. The style sheet eventually led to the Chicago Model Manual, which was released in 1906.

Instructions

1 Cite the newspaper within the text. Chicago Type requires that you get into the identify of the newspaper from italics with the quote or paraphrase plus the date of the article. 2 Include the newspaper citation in the bibliography. Unlike other design formats, Chicago Style allows you to enter the author's first name, in that case last identify, or last and then first title.
