TENS Unit Benefits
The advantages and benefits of a trancutaneous electrical nerve stimulation unit, or tens unit , result from electrical impulses that lessen the sensation of pain. Based on Dr. William Teller of Stanford University Department of cloth Sciences, other research projects have shown the TENS unit increases the body's production of endorphins, an organically released painkiller. The TENS is regarded as a common tool during which electrodes published skin cause a power current that decreases pain signals.
