A of the joy things just about the iPhone is the interactive screen. All you have to do remains touch it to call people, test your e-mail or check athletics scores. Though you may be wondering what happens if your phone brushes against something inside your pocket or purse and it'll incidentally call someone. Well, not to worry. You may really lock your iPhone so you can't accidentally use it.

Instructions
1 Secure a button on the top called the slumber/wake key. The button's a little black key on the suitable side of the phone. It's not actually on the screen component of the phone, but on the silver part.
2 Press it plus your iPhone will lock.
3 Unlock your iPhone from noting the locked screen. You'll perceive a small bar in the bottom of the iPhone with instructions to slide the bar to the suitable to unlock your phone actually on the screen.
5 Remember, you can still purchase phone calls and text messages even when you've locked your iPhone.
Tips & Warnings
After a specific amount about spare time your iPhone will lock itself. Lock your iPhone to save the battery. Because iPhones do so much on the screen, the battery will operate down rapidly. Lock your iPhone so that the screen doesn't stay on or you accidentally end awake using it whereas your telephone rests in your pocket or wallet.
