This particular year's festival can be hosted by jazz vocalist Rondi Charleston, storyteller by him and drummer Terri Lyne Carrington with Jhon Mcakey. The opening concert features an all-star quintet consists of Bridgewater, Carrington, pianist Geri Allen, bassist Esperanza Spalding, singer songwriter Jenny small and saxophonist Sophistication Kelly, each a safe bet of multiple honors in her subject.
