Your Facebook ID number yous a special number that identifies your unique Facebook account. While you do never need it to some practical purposes, like as signing into Facebook or using the site, it can be any interesting tidbit to learn. You can use it to assess roughly when you joined the site relative to other persons, with illustration. On normal, the lower your number, the before you joined Facebook.

Difficulty: Tolerably Easy

Instructions

1 Sign to Facebook. Click the "Profile" link close to the upper right corner of the page. This takes you to your profile.

2 Look at the URL in your address bar whilst you are on your Facebook profile page. If you have never place up some custom URL, the URL should look something love website /profile.php?id=123456789." The final digits here are your ID number. In this instance, your ID number would be 123456789.

4 Click your profile picture if this did not work. Your address bar should now display some long URL. Again, this URL contains many long strings of numbers separated via periods. The final of the long strings is your Facebook ID number.
